How it works

We reopen the right conversations. You continue the valuable ones.

A careful four-stage process finds suitable past enquiries, follows up in your business name and keeps your team out of the weeds until somebody is ready.

The principle

Use the attention you already earned.

The goal is not to squeeze a list. It is to spot the people whose circumstances may have changed, approach them with context and make it easy to restart a useful conversation.

Four clear stages

Careful at the start. Fast when someone is ready.

  1. 01

    Find the conversations worth reopening

We start with the reason each person got in touch, when they last heard from you, the service they wanted and the permission attached to the record. Duplicates, opt-outs, unsuitable records and anyone you cannot lawfully contact are excluded before a message is prepared.

What you get: A clean, agreed group of suitable people to follow up with.

  2. 02

Agree what a good opportunity looks like

A useful reply is different for every business. We agree your service area, the work you want, any minimum job value and the action that counts, such as asking for a call, a new quote or an appointment. Those rules become the line between an ordinary reply and a billable opportunity.

What you get: A written definition, agreed before the first message goes out.

  3. 03

    Restart the conversation naturally

The follow-up goes out by text message or email, refers to the original enquiry and gives the person a useful reason to reply. Replies are answered within minutes, daytime or evening, inside rules we agree with you. Anything unusual or sensitive goes to a person rather than being guessed at.

What you get: Thoughtful follow-up without your team chasing a spreadsheet.

  4. 04

Pass the interested people back to you

We confirm the agreed essentials, such as the work, location and preferred next step. The opportunity then lands with the context your team needs to continue the conversation. You can choose a calendar booking, a warm handover or a simple notification.

What you get: A fresh opportunity with the original context and the new reply attached.

A sensible starting point

First, we check whether it is worth doing.

A free initial check gives us enough to estimate the usable opportunity and spot obvious reasons not to proceed. We would rather tell you the list is not ready than run weak outreach.

What we look for

  • At least 500 genuine past enquiries, so the pilot proves something
  • A clear record of where those enquiries came from
  • Enough value in a new customer to justify personal follow-up
  • Capacity to respond when someone is ready again

A clean handover

We handle the follow-up. Your team handles the sale.

You do

  • Give us a suitable export or agreed access to the enquiry records.
  • Confirm the service, area and opportunity rules.
  • Take over when a qualified person wants the next step.

We handle

  • Clean and segment the agreed records.
  • Write, personalise and release the follow-up.
  • Handle early replies and opt-outs.
  • Qualify, book or hand over the interested people.

Careful by design

Clear identity, easy opt-out, no invented answers.

Texts and emails identify your business and refer to the earlier enquiry. Opt-outs are immediate. Automated replies work inside agreed rules, and anything uncertain, sensitive or outside scope is escalated to a person rather than guessed at.

Example follow-up

Hi Sam, it’s Oak & Stone. You asked us about an extension last autumn and mentioned the timing was not quite right. Is it still something you’d like help with? Reply no and we won’t contact you about it again.

The actual wording depends on the original enquiry, your offer and the contact route agreed for the campaign.

Frequently asked questions

Who do you contact?
Only the people in the group we agree with you first. We normally look for genuine past enquiries who asked about a relevant service, were not marked as opted out and can lawfully be contacted through the proposed channel. Records that do not pass the check stay out.
Is this just a bulk message to everyone?
No. Follow-up goes out by text message and email, and the work starts with selection, exclusions and context. Each message names your business, relates to the person’s earlier enquiry and gives a clear way to say no. We release follow-up in controlled groups so replies can be handled properly.
Where does AI fit?
AI helps us personalise the first message, recognise the meaning of replies and handle straightforward follow-up inside rules agreed with you. It does not get free rein. Unusual, sensitive or uncertain conversations are handed to a person.
What counts as a qualified opportunity?
Someone who replies positively, matches the service and location rules agreed before launch, and asks for the next step, such as a call, quote or appointment. The definition is written down before the campaign starts.
What do I not pay for?
No reply, not interested, wrong number, opt-out, duplicate, out of area, or a request that falls outside the agreed criteria. If someone books an appointment and does not turn up, that is not charged either. We charge once for each accepted qualified opportunity, never for the number of messages sent. And if the pilot produces fewer than five, the £495 is credited or refunded, your choice.
My records are a mess. Is that a problem?
Usually not, and it is more common than you would think. Enquiries spread across a phone, an inbox, a job book and a spreadsheet can still be pulled together. What matters is that we can tell where each person came from and roughly when. If the records are too thin to do that safely, we will say so at the opportunity check rather than take the launch fee.
Can you use our existing CRM?
Usually. We can work from a suitable export or, where access and the platform allow it, inside your current system. We agree the safest route during the initial check and keep the amount of data moved to a minimum.
How quickly can it start?
The first step is a short opportunity and permission check. Once the records, offer, qualification rules and messaging route are agreed, a pilot can usually be prepared quickly. We give you a realistic launch date after seeing the data rather than promising one before it is checked.
Will every old enquiry turn into work?
No. Many people will not reply and some will have moved on. The point is to find the smaller group whose timing has changed, without filling your team’s day with follow-up or charging you for silence.
